製作這批手作的；是一群身處在土耳其伊斯坦堡的敘利亞難民婦女們。 她們每人都有種種的負擔；每天所面對著的難題；並不是我們一言一語就能體驗到。
Small Projects Istanbul是一個協助敘利亞社群重拾生活的組織。他們主張透過教學、教授不同的技能給予當地的家庭，鼓勵他們用雙手自力更身，為生活爭取多一點色彩。Drop Earrings Not Bomb是其中一項主要的手作項目；讓敘利亞婦女們用雙手製作出一對對色彩豐富的手作耳環。
今次有幸可以買下她們所製作出的手作；用少少行動支持她們為生活繼續奮鬥，感覺特別有意思。
